Research Interests
- Machine learning and feature engineering for biological network, such as Protein-Protein Interaction Network (PPIN).
- Identification query genes in tumors or stem cells by analyzing high-throughout sequencing data.
Research Experience
Bachelor:
- Completed the College Student’s independent Experiment: “Milk Capra ETV5 Genes Clone and Primarily Analysis” under the guidance of Dr. Hua Jinlian in College of Animal Medical Northwest A&F University.
- Completed the College Student’s Scientific Innovation project:” Functions of Three "core" pluripotency transcription factors in Human Embryonic Stem Cells” under the guidance of Dr. Liao Mingzhi. And the work was assessed as the excellent project by the school authority.
- Engaged in Genetic Engineering Project, and learnt the basic experimental principles in molecule lab.
Master:
- Maintaining a Small-Scale Server (system: CentOS 6.5).
- Processing spermatogonia stem cell RNA-seq data for a wet lab student.
- Topological attribute analysis of hub protein in Protein-Protein interaction network (PPIN).
- Identified the targets of the Transcription Factors (OCT4, SOX2 and NANOG) in human stem cells by machining learning algorithm for instance Support Vector Machine (SVM), random forest.
- Using python designed and coded a software aiming to identify human cell type and made a simple website, named CellSim, which is not released. [website] [code]
